Dahl Automotive Purchases Stevens Point, Rhinelander Dealerships

Dahl Automotive Purchases Stevens Point, Rhinelander Dealerships

Dahl Automotive has recently acquired four dealerships from Kocourek Automotive, marking its entry into central and north central Wisconsin markets. The acquisition includes two Honda dealerships and two Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealerships, now named Dahl Honda Stevens Point, Dahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Stevens Point, Dahl Honda Rhinelander, and Dahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Rhinelander. The move expands Dahl Automotive’s presence to 10 dealerships in total across Minnesota and Wisconsin, representing 13 brands and employing 525 team members.

“We are excited to welcome over one hundred new team members to the Dahl Automotive family,” said Andrew Dahl, President of Dahl Automotive. “The Kocourek organization is known for its operational excellence, team engagement and community impact.  We are honored to have the opportunity with Kocourek on these four stores in two great markets.”

“Dahl Automotive is well known in the state of Wisconsin as a multi-generational 100-year-old business with an honest, hard-working family that takes care of their team members,” said Keith Kocourek, President of Kocourek Automotive. “Selling these stores allows the Kocourek organization to further invest in the Wausau market for years to come.”

The strategic plan for Dahl Automotive involves growth in small to mid-size markets to positively impact their team, guests, and community. With the new acquisitions, Dahl reenters the Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM brands into its portfolio, which the Dahl family had previously represented from the 1940s to the 1970s in other states. The group now operates in a total of 10 dealerships, including two Honda stores in Onalaska, WI, strengthening their partnership with Honda.

Dahl Automotive was established in 1911 and spans five generations. The dealership is recognized as one of the oldest auto-groups in the United States under continuous family ownership. The company touts its emphasis on humility-based servant leadership, focusing on business growth while making a positive impact on their team, families, and communities. Dahl Automotive currently employs over 500 team members through its various ventures, including dealerships, body shops, parts and accessory businesses, and an auto museum.
