Some of La Crosse’s finest businessmen welcomed more than 500 attendees to the Wisconsin Master Builders Association state convention in January of 1922. The event’s planners included many names whose busineses have since survived many decades and remain rooted in both La Crosse and its building industry.
The event began January 10, 1922 with a bowling match at the La Crosse Club between Milwaukee and La Crosse’s Master Builders Association members.
Other event venues included the Majestic Theater, which held a special show, and the Pioneer Hall hosting the banquet.
